Fit perfect on my 1988 Ford f-150, shipped on time and was a great price. I recommend that if you change out your speedometer cable that you also change out your speed sensor at the same time. Definite recommendation!

You pull off and reuse the gear. Its pretty simple to pull out the small pin holding the gear onto the sensor. If that gear is chewed up (Its plastic) youll need to replace it with a new one. 1A Auto has a video about this task and they show how to remove the gear.
Thank you for your inquiry! This part does not include the speedo cable.
This speed sensor is correct for your vehicle if it does not have a digital dash.

Thats where the speedometer cable goes. This item isnt digital. It for older fords that use a physical turning cable.
If your model has the digital dash, then yes it does make a difference. This part will not fit your vehicle, but we may have a part that is listed to fit. Be sure to verify all of the information shown in the Vehicle Fit tab before ordering.
