Installation went fairly well. Still had to use a spring compressor unlike the video. The included document describing how to disable the air suspension light did not cover my car and it claimed it did. So I feel that I didn't get what I paid for. Surely a very simple effort would correct the error in their instructions. 2010 Mercury Gran Marquis LS. They also, in the on line catalog, claimed to include devices to be installed that would fool the air suspension system into thinking that the suspension was ok. No such devise. Too bad because that would be really good to eliminate the warning light on the dash.

I Ordered this kit to replace our worn-out rear air bags. The good: the coils and rubber upper noise boots fit the cars spring perch. The bad: the ID of lower rubber coil is smaller than the spring perch on the axle and will not fully cover the circumference of the coil against the metal axle. The nuts on the shocks are mismatched; 17mm on one side and 5/8 on the other. As the pictures show they also do not come with an upper rubber grommet that is supposed to be in between the nut and the top of the shock mount. You cant reuse the 1-piece shock nut & rubber cap from the stock shocks because the spring thread pitch is different. Youll need to remove the rubber grommet from the old shocks and add them and a washer to secure the new shocks in place and prevent rattling. If you dont have access to modify or add the parts then probably best to just buy the coils and get shocks elsewhere.
