Worked for 3 months then the motor keeps freezing up on me. I checked my track just to make sure it wasn't off or binding up . No issues. Gonna ship it back for a replacement.
Im very disappointed in the part. The first order was the motor was frozen with no movement. Called motor was replaced. I installed the second motor and it is loud and not very smooth. Im frustrated that I have to call and have it replaced again. Its not an easy fix to remove a door panel to replace the window motor.
This motor feels solid and looks to be well constructed. However the motor is on the opposite side of the gear box (I was told for copyright infringement issues). The biggest problem... The screw holes are oversized and not threaded. There is no way to bolt this on with the factory hardware and 1aAuto says they don't sell any hardware to attach this to my bronco. I could probably find some long bolts and lock nuts and make it work but doing this in the confined area of the door would be difficult at best. The holes are too large to tap. I will probably just buy a different unit without these issues and put this on the shelf in my shop. Maybe I can use it for parts. If you could find a way to mount it, it may be a good motor.
