I had purchased a key cylinder from another company, and it was poorly made would not fit it was .010 over sized and poorly maid in China. I could not send it back was unable to contact the seller. Then I purchased one from 1A Auto it was made in Taiwan excellent quality fit like a glove. I will be dealing with 1A Auto from now on.
There could be multiple reasons why you're having this particular problem. We suggest taking your vehicle to a nearby reputable shop to identify the cause. Once you know the cause, we'll be happy to see if we carry the parts and how-to videos needed for your repair.
It could be that you received a faulty assembly. I would verify the product details and vehicle fit and ask for a replacement if all of those features match.
