This is able to fit for your vehicle. The part will need to be programmed through the dealership.
It does but it's not the right chip inside of the key. I used the cylinder and had them re key it
This is an after market part made in Taiwan. I have been using it in my 2005 Ford Ranger for more than a year and it fits and works fine, no problems. However, I did not have to mess with programming the key because the "PATS" security system has been turned off on my vehicle by the previous owner. So on my application any key will work, no programming required. I don't know the exact procedure for key programming.
No. the part is not a chipped key and does not need to be programmed. There is an installation video on our listing that may help.
