These look good online, so went ahead and ordered. Didn't want to clean my old original valve covers off 2009 Expedition XLT 4x4 5.4 3V. Thought red color looks great. OK, got'em. Upon opening, the LH side cover had PCV tube pushed inward, looked at it, it was glued to the cover wit RTV on the underside, cmon, really? OEM Ford had a secure fitting, so when you install the PCV hose from outside and push on the pipe it stays in place. OK, got a JBWeld epoxy kit out, glued the pipe from underside the cover. Feels rock solid now, but hope that JBWeld epoxy can withstand engine oil and not fail. The epoxy can handle up to 550 degrees F, so that shouldn't be an issue, but not sure about oil. Felt like a small detour, so I thought, ok, no big deal. Then I am looking at the valve cover bolts that came with this kit, they are 1/2 shorter than OEM. Those are going to trash.
