Has anyone ever had a problem with the plug or pigtail to this part?

Yes, I replaced the part and it worked for a moment and stopped. After checking the pigtail my son noticed a mark on one of the connections. He cleaned and bent the connection and it is now working. My son said I might have to replace the pigtail if it does it again.

Does this work with manual heater controls ?
