After watching some videos on replacing the coil packs I bought OEM coil packs as one guy recommended. Unfortunately when I installed one bank the truck ran rough. I thought it was a fluke but I put the old ones back in and it ran better and so I left it for a while. A short while later the truck shuddered and I got the error code pointing to a misfire in cylinder 3. I thought I should replace all of coils as I had already replaced the plugs. Installed these TRQ coil packs and the truck runs great!!! Love them.
Started failing after 2 years Have already had to replace 2 of them
These were easy to install, seemed very solid and of good quality. Good red color to add some flare under the hood.
Your company sends out Defective Product!!! If one is Bad right out of the Box (WOULD YOU PUT THE REST OF THE SET IN? AND EXCPECT THEM TO STAY WORKING!! THEY ARE IN THE SHIPPING BOX ON THE SHELF AND I GOT OEM FORD IGNITION COILS. YOUR COMPANY SELLS DEFECTIVE PARTS!!!
As always completely satisfied with price , delivery and product. I did not need their videos for this application but have used them in the past and thy too are great. I especially like how they tell you the size sockets you need especially on those you cannot see taking all the guess work out of it.
Have had on for several years now amd the truck has ran great
Installed around 4k miles ago. So far all is good. Time will tell but they fit and function like OEM. Recommend.
My 2016 f150 3.5 had a couple of coil packs go bad over the last year or so. The latest misfire made the truck almost undrivable and a code never appeared. Decided to roll the dice and try replacing the plugs and coil packs. My grandson sent me the link to these and said they worked well for him and a friend. So far, I've got about 1400 miles with some heavy long distance towing. So far so good.
Worked great!!
each uses an 8 mm but do yourself a favor and replace with the original motorcraft ones... i used these a year ago and now having to replace again
coil packs do not use gaps. Always doublee check spark plug gaps!
