2010 Mercury Milan Passenger Side Power Heated Mirror with Heat, with Puddle Light, with Blind Spot Indicator TRQ MRA04224

The mirror is a great fit physically. The blind spot detection does not work. It may be because my car does not have heated mirrors whereas this model says it is heated. There do not appear to be any models, unless I glossed over it in looking at the several available, that have blind spot detection without heat. I contacted support to get a wiring diagram of the harness going to the mirror. They said they do not have one. That is a big red flag for this company. These mirrors have to be assembled in some fashion which requires a wiring diagram in order to do so properly. If they don't have one, then there is no guarantee these will ever work correctly. Highly disappointed!

Blind spot and cross-traffic functionality are lost with these mirrors. They sent me two... both failed by triggering the same errors. After telling me the first one must be defective and sending me another that failed, they told me I had to go to a dealer with the second one to get it 'reprogrammed' which was complete malarkey. I talked to service at a Ford Dealer and they said, "Yeah, whoever said that is lying. There is no such thing as reprogramming Blind Spot and Cross Traffic for a replacement mirror. It should plug and play." I found this to be true because if I plug in the original mirror, the electronics work just fine. Super disappointed in this company.

Installed, but the Blind Spot light is illuminated and will not go off. Now getting DIC messages Blind Spot Spot System fault and Crossing Traffic System fault. Absolutely will not use again!
