The box the regulator arrived in was falling apart. It was taped up to hold it together. But the regulator was ok. In the installation videos I watched, when the installer finished the job and rolled up the window the motor sounded strained. When I got done the motor was also straining. On comparing the old and new regulators the OEM had an outward bow to it and the new one was straight. So in order to fix it I'll have to do the whole thing over because it may not last. I wish the videos mentioned this. So when you do this job be sure to compare both regulators. You can carefully adjust the new regulator track. I think it comes like it does because it's applicable to several other vehicles. Yes I do recommend this.
I'm just a little disappointed the video I watch came with nuts and bolts in the part I received only came with rivets was able to go to hardware and get what I needed also the window does not go completely down like the other side it stops about an inch before the bottom but it seems to work okay so see how it does
Don't buy this. Motor doesn't work. No refund because they say once it's plugged into power it's non-returnable and no refund. Scam
Pricing and delivery were great, sadly the regulator only worked for a day.
After I installed it the window went up and down. After a couple of days it stuck and would not go up without me helping. What could be the problem?
Quit going up after only a few uses, was very slow going up after install from oem on other side. If it wasn't under warranty I'd buy oem and be done.
I have previously purchased and installed this product for my van. It only works for a few years before failing. This time the electric motor got really hot the first few times I tested it out after installation. It then stuck in position. I'm ordering a Motocraft part to replace. Twice as expensive, but hopefully it functions for more than twice the time.
