Get the Right Snap Ring Pliers for the 05 Powerstroke 4x4 Lariat
Overall, the parts fit great and appear to be OEM quality. If you have a 2005 Powerstroke 4x4, you will need some HEFTY snap ring pliers. The video is 95% accurate for a 2005 powerstroke 4wd, but there is a slight difference. First, the snap ring pliers in the video will not perform on the 05. I broke two pairs of snap ring pliers trying to remove the snap ring. Also, this truck does not use the 3 thrust washers shown in the video, it's only a snap ring, but a very heavy duty snap ring.
After breaking two pairs and several trips to the store, I finally bought the 12' Icon pliers from Harbor Freight. The end prongs are too large for the holes on the snap ring so I ended up filing down the prongs until they fit securely. The next challenge is spreading open those rings wide enough to remove. It took both hands and some serious torque to spread them......almost like using bolt cutters to cut through tough steel. Once I finally removed them, one of the provided snap rings was too big and

Great service!
Parts arrived packaged and shipped well. Installation was easy and ABS sensor cable came with clamps installed so securing the cable was easy. Had one seal that was cut out of the box which wasn't a huge deal I just cleaned and used one off the old set. Downside was when I rest drove it I got a left front ABS sensor fail. Called 1A and the shipped a replacement the same day! Great customer service.

Stay away! The inner tie rod end went bad in 2 months and was so loose it almost falls out of the socket. I removed all the parts and replaced with Moog, far more solid on day one! You get what you pay for. PS.... Bet I get a sorry about your experience with no refund for junk!
