Replacing struts used to require specialized tools to compress, remove, and transfer the old spring and mount. Our Pre-assembled, complete strut & spring assemblies come with all new parts and make the job much quicker and easier for the do-it-yourself mechanic.

Thank you for the inquiry. The police package is referring to vehicles that were specifically designed for the police force such as Crown Victoria, Explorer, and the Chevy Impala to name a few. These vehicles are equip with much heavier duty suspension parts as the demand for their use was much more than the normal driver. This also increased the weight of the vehicles and they needed a more durable set of shocks. If you do not have a police package on your vehicle, they will not be compatible.
