The bearings will be greased already. New hardware is not included with this item. You may be able to reuse your original hardware if it is in good condition.

I can tell you it fits the 04 Explorer Eddie Baurer, best thing you can do is call 1A and ask them to match to your VIN. The feature isnt available on the site but if you call they can confirm based on VIN if it will fit your 03 Explorer XLT. Hope that helps

They were very nice, the parking break / emergency break was installed with them . I did not expect that Bonus. However the hole that the "Rear Toe links" go into were to big I found out after I had the assembly installed that there are 2 size toe links small & large. I had to purchase new toe links to get the larger size to fit the new assembly's at a extra cost of $140.00 other than that they fit very well.

These will work on a Mountaineer built prior to 3/4/02 but, you also have buy a new toe link. I used the Dorman 523-007 ( not sure if trq has an equivalent part ) and it worked just fine ( 16" rims )
