Works ok but the gas gauge doesnt read accurately now
The fuel pump was a perfect match to the OEM part for my 2002 Ford Explorer that was installed by the dealership. The cost was so much less, I could of bought ten of these for the price of the one they installed (including labor). The part was very easy to install and started up on the very first try. So far the pump is performing great.
Paid mechanic 3 times to drop tank on our explorer. Come to find out the sending unit in this brand new pump was bad. Ended up sending this back and bought a factory fuel pump. Very disappointed.
Yes this is an 8-pin connector as shown in the picture and mentioned in the fit list. If your is 7 then this will not fit your vehicle.
