I own a 2010 Ford Edge that had the original OEM struts. Going over small cracks in the road and small bumps, I kept hearing "thumps" - not loud, but noticeable. On a road with lots of cracks and little bumps, it was pretty noisy. Since the original struts were still in there, I figured the thumps were from those (especially being 15 years old). These struts are solid, quality parts and matched my original ones perfectly. The boxes were a little bang up, but they were strapped so all was good. The install took longer than expected since this was the first one I have done. I had a helper. We didn't take the wiper cowl off since that is a pretty big job itself. It took time to get the top nuts off the old strut since space is tight in that spot, but with determination, was able to get them off. We sprayed the bottom nuts/bolts with Blaster 16-PB and let them sit for a while. With the right tools, they all came off nicely. Being very careful around the brake line, we were able
