I took my time, made sure everything was clean be for I pulled the covers. As to not drop any dust or particles inside. Cleaned both valve covers thoroughly. Install was easy, made sure no wires were going to get pinched. No problems at all with that install. The wiring harness was easy as well. One wire at a time. And the job was done. Truck runs great on 328 thousand miles!
Been running this awhile now with no problems ! I replaced glow plugs and adjusted injectors now cranks in cold weather with no problem
So far a very nice product, no issues. The bolts holes lined up well, the connectors had a nice tight fitting connection. I would recommend this product.
These replacement gaskets come complete with glowplug and injector harness made of high quality materials. Fitment was spot on, I'd recommend this product to anyone needing replacement gaskets to upgrade the undervalve cover harness aswell. Can't beat he quality or the price.
OE replacement, Well not exactly. the two issues I had here were the length of the injector wires were a little shorter than the original set. this prevented me from routing the wire a safe distance from the injector bodies. In addition the injector connectors were press fit together and one came apart during installation. I decided the best I could do was finish the installation and hope like hell it does not come back. Not the way I like to do things but we needed the truck.
You will have to wire in a pig tail, but it will be a plug in style.
