My fuel pump is located in the gas tank. I installed it in a 2004 Kia Amanti. Very easy to install, access in the trunk. Fit perfect, connected just the way the old one did. I would think yours will be located in the fuel tank. Check out some videos on u-tube for your car, it was very helpful for me.

This is the fuel pump only. There is a separate screen that is attached to the hanger assembly, you can clean and reuse the screen or source a new one if yours is damaged.
