Hello, there is 2 sets of bolts 1 for each side
I have a 1986 suburban diesel. Same thing with my windows. As a matter of fact I had to help the windows roll up by using my hands on the glass and pushing up. New motors on driver and passenger side fixed the problem.
It sounds like the regulator assy is binding I would check the nylon rollers on the assy first to see if they are all in good condition and also check to make sure the tracks are clean and damage free if all is good spray some lithium grease on the tracks and see if that helps
