Easy to install. Fits. Hasn't fallen off the truck yet so hope it should be good for the long term.
When in to frame perfect easy to install very pleased with it price ok .
The part is perfect. Make sure you know which mounting style you need because it matters! Shipping took way too long- almost 3 weeks. Be sure to upgrade if you have time concerns.
Piece fits perfect, installation was a little awkward given the double sided pad that attaches it, but ended up perfect. Part is high quality and very clear. Other reviewers said use old hardware. But new hardware is far superior, dont reuse.

This mirror was a great replacement for my 2011 Ram 1500. Someone hit my mirror on the street and left this fixed it like new.
You will need to remove your existing mirror glass and this one will install with double sided tape.

The mirror glass would be received as pictured. The glass is attached to the backing plate and the hardware is included separately.
Luckily my existing mirror was already broken so I had access to the interior. But if your existing mirror is not broken but you are replacing for another reason (crack, scratch, etc.) then all you need to do is break the center (screw driver and hammer) to gain access behind...unscrew the mount and you are good. Probably and inch hole in the existing mirror would be enough...its then just one screen to unscrew and the entire unit will pop out. This set will then replace the entire curved mirror portion of the side mirror (this will not replace the main non-curved larger mirror)
