Very noisy. I can hear it while my Magnum V8 is idling... It appears to be the very same as the old one that broke down, but the old one was quiet. Truck runs fine on the road as it always has... but the pump sounds like when one raises the forks on a fork lift. I am wondering if I may soon fall back in repair~!?

We would suggest replacing the entire fuel pump assembly. Please note this item is also specific to models with a 26-gallon tank.

The filter (sock) is made onto the bottom of the pump. The pressure regulator (silver thing) and vacuum (black thing) are also on the pump.
