To me this is the only way to purchase struts. No compressing spring tools needed. Unless you really know what you are doing and have spring compression tools, just buy fully assembled units all in one piece. These replaced the old ones perfectly. Quality looks great. I installed them in about 2 hours each side after watching many videos. The only piece of advise is that, after installation and connecting the ball joint, you MUST reach into the upper spring area with wrenches and tighten the arm pivot joint bolts or they will come loose and might fall off. They have to be loose initially so you can connect the ball joint properly. How long these will last I have no idea.
