Tough job but they worked great. Got ABS and cruise control working again.
Parts were easily found and great service
These were a little difficult to install, but I attribute that to the way our Chrysler 300 was designed. Automotive engineers really need to spend time on the shop floor to see just how ridiculous some of their design work is. Little wonder why repair shops have to charge so much. Once I fabricated my own installation tool, I was able to complete the job with relative ease.
Worked ??
replaced this on my 2008 300C AWD. The part i thought was going to be hard was easy, and the part i thought was going to be easy [pushing this tone ring on to the sanded, cleaned, lightly greased axle end] was the hardest part. After struggling to get the new ring on for a long while, we finally got it on. After torqueing and reassembling everything, and driving about 20 feet, all my ABS, EPS, and related warning lights went out on their own. After verifying it was definitely working great, i cleared all the stored codes too.
They look good. Haven't had a chance to work on the car yet
Easy to install. All warning lights on dash disappeared. Traction control works again. Only did rear toner rings, saving front for when needed. Saving a lot of money if you can turn a wrench.
These were purchased for a 2009 Dodge Charger SXT All Wheel Drive, which has 4 CV axle shafts (and 1 tone ring per shaft). The immediate benefit was that this item is a 4 piece set, which offers a huge bonus for pricing, along with having to only order one part number! The tone rings are difficult to get to in the vehicle, which requires a lot of disassembly, but once apart, the new tone rings fit very nicely onto the existing CV axle shafts. Use a small dead blow hammer or rubber mallet to tap the rings on, and start the reassembly process. All said and done, a great product, great customer service, great delivery, great fit, and a great price!! Thx!
The first rings I ordered somehow got lost in the shipping. One phone call got the problem resolved, and another set of rings were sent out that same day. I received that set quickly and couldn't be more pleased. Great company to deal with and will definitely buy from again!!
I installed them into my 2010 Charger R/T AWD. This fixed my ABS, ESP/BAS, and Traction dash lights. Everything is working as it should now; normal shifts and cruise control, for example.
No
You have to take the hub out to expose the end of the axle. Then you have to tap the thing in with like a big socket. But they are super fragile so be careful
Hello, our parts are a direct replacement to the original and would function the same way.
