The crankshaft position sensor that is bad that I took out is smaller diameter an not the same as the new one?

Does the this have a relearn process or just clear the codes and unplug the battery remove old and install new??

The cam shaft and crank shaft sincor coralate the timeing un plug the neg battery for about 30 to 45 min after installing the sinsor that will rest the computer then drive it around for awile up to a 150 miles for the computer to relearn it self but befor you change these sinsors change your mass airflow it might be throughing false codes witch may not be the problem
