I received a new hood latch. It was easy to replace. I didnt need to thread the new cable by tying it to a wire or anything. I had used visegrips on the end of the old cable for about one year. If Id have known how easy it was going to be to replace, IId have done it a long time ago. As smoothly as the latch works now, I check my oil more often without worrying if my hood would open/and/shut problem free. Great CHEAP EASY replacement. I also received the part in just a few days after ordering!
The hood release cable came a day sooner than I expected, and in perfect condition. Not only did it fit my car perfectly, I had no trouble with the installation. Everything worked just as it should on the very first try. I didn't even have to make any adjustments! It's really a delight to have things go "according to plan".
