Struts are way to strong, would send the trunk lid flying up so hard that it an actually caused my trunk to bend at the end. Now I have to take it to the shop to get the trunk repaired !!!

Replaced after the wind blew the trunk lid of her Monte Carlo SS down on my wife's head... appreciated timely shipping. Nice to have the option of a part specific to rear spoiler applications with their additional weight. Installation took about 10 minutes and they are more than sufficient for the trunk lid - a light lift and it self-opens.
It was a very job, I had both replaced in 5 minutes
