TRQ brake pads and rotors on 14 Impala Limited
The pads and rotors seemed like they were good quality when I installed them. Drove with them for a few days and they were squealing with and without brakes applied. Took the caliper off again to check them and the clip was rubbing against the rotor on both front brakes! That was my squeaking sound that I was wondering about. Had to break the edge of the clip off and grind it down and now its finally quiet. Also, when I took the pads off to check the clips, I noticed a chunk missing from the corner of one of the pads. They have good stopping power which is nice but Ive noticed a lot of brake dust on rims since installing them. Hope they last and glad they have the lifetime warranty! Check the clips for rubbing on the rotor during your install so you dont have my same issue.
