a well needed item from time to time in the winter months to keep 4 wheel drive in working condition . They normally last for 4 to 6 years and then need to be replaced .
I bought a 98 Jimmy and one of the recommendations I saw was to change this part periodically to prevent fluid from getting up into the vacuum system and mess up your heat/ac door controls. This is just what I needed and give me peace of mind that it has been changed.
