Not made like the Factory
So far I have only one side put on because of the fight my blazer wanted to put up with these, buit i will say it is definitely a night and day difference between my almost 20 year old control arm. This is definitely a two person job as this took help prying the torsion bar down while i wiggled the control arm on to the torsion bar to get it into position. I can not complain since I have had an issue with the control arms since I bought my car.
I bought control arms from a different supplier and took a solid week to get to me!!! So they finally arrived and guess what, Yes they sent the wrong one's (*@$!&#) so now the fun part send them back and because they said I purchased the wrong ones I had to pay to send them back awesome?? They didn't even ask to replace them with the correct ones. So I was looking around and got some good reviews about 1A and I got on the site and ordered more control arms and they even had the ball joints that worked out perfectly they were delivered in half the time of the other supplier. Got the right parts in half the time and no hassle and some helpful videos now that worked out a little to well. I was sure something was going to go wrong but low and behold unlike that ROCK lol everything fit great. Thanks 1A Auto
Parts were just what I wanted service is excellent and delivery was two days before scheduling date only problem was it wasn't my name on the box they were shipped to the right place had to look at the tracking number to make sure it was my package same as this email Dustin isn't my name but if that's the only thing I can live with that good thing that I didn't have to return them some else would have gotten a Christmas gift of a return
I like completely rebuilding the front end everything went together great like it should the only issue that I ran into was the lower a arms were a little tight go and then it's definitely a two-person job and would recommend having another person when I got the alignment everything lined up perfectly in the front end I would recommend this part to anybody who needs to rebuild their front end on the GMC Sonoma or S10
I bought the whole set because I wasn't sure of what was needed. The shop that did the work had seen the invoice because I wanted them to be able to match the part numbers to the parts. Although they didn't use everything, the clerk that had seen what I paid said I got a great deal on the parts. No issues so far and it has been about 4000 miles. Thank You A1 Auto!
You will not need to tap in a new set of threads, and these will be built to the same factory specifications as your original equipment.
They should be the same. The mounting points are what make the difference. The Zr2 has different bracelets. GM used to be really good at using the same parts for different vehicles.
