This fuel pump includes a new electrical connector harness. You will need to remove your existing electrical connector and install the new connector provided in order to install your new fuel pump (instructions are included with the pump).
This fuel pump is not a universal fit item. Because your vehicle’s original connector is prone to failure due to corrosion, cracking, loose pin housings, and wire crimp issues, the OE manufacturer has changed the shape of the connector, requiring the install of a new electrical connector during fuel pump service.
Returns: Parts with electrical components cannot be returned once installed.

Fit on my 2001 gmc Sonoma
I've had two of these. They lasted 3 months for the first one. Wouldn't pass a leak down test. The second one of these last 6 months with, it had a total failure. The gas gauge wasn't accurate for either. They were fine until you got down to a 1/2 of a tank. Then the gauges go wonky. I would turn the ignition on the gauge would read 1/4 tank after starting would read a 1/4. If I would get down to around 5 gallons left the gauge would go wonky while driving. I didn't have that issue until I replaced the pump. Not a great feeling to not know how much fuel you have. The only way to guess is to fill it up when it reads 1/2.
