Everything was a prefect fit, went together smoothly, just be careful of the wire splicing, they must have updated the wire colors on the new harness to match the existing harness because the instruction sheet was incorrect on the splicing, or maybe it was just my truck.

Gas tank and set up good

One thing. It should come with new bolts and padding for top of the tank.

The Service from A 1 auto is amazing!
The parts I order from A1 were delivered a day earlier than expected. Everything fit perfectly. One damaged part, due to delivery was the only draw back. With that draw back I learned about A1’s return policy which was amazing!!!!

Gas Tank Review
Since the old bolts were rusty, I had to buy new bolts because they weren’t included with the tank, but I expected that because I was replacing the tank cuz it was rusted out! The connections were not the same as on my old gas tank, so I had to do some converting. The fuel gauge doesn’t work. It reads like 2x as full and never gets down to full even. But it’s pumping gas and my truck is running without leaking, so that’s what matters!

The fit and finish was great but the fuel pump is very noisy.

After installation, the fuel gauge doesn't work.  Could the splicing instructions have been incorrect?

It says for a 97 ext cab 6.5 foot box with a v6 will the pump work for a 97 ext cab with 6.5 ft box but with a 5.7 ?
