about a year ago I helped my brother install a sending unit in a 2001 silverado1500 don't remember having to change the wire harness and don't remember spending 1 hour trying to get the new tank gasket to fit so i put the old one in fit great the new one was a lot thicker 1 1/2 hour job took 3 1/2 hours needed more info on up grades
These parts will not work for diesel application.
