What are Tapered Bearings and Why Use Them? Tapered bearings use rollers shaped like flat-topped cones and two races angled from the outside in of the bearing. This angle makes the bearing better at handling forces exerted on the bearing during cornering (known as axial load) in trucks and large cars. Your model came from the factory with tapered bearings. Roller ball bearings work well for smaller cars, but replacing a tapered bearing with a roller ball bearing increases wear and failure.

They were great to deal with. One of my wheel bearings had a defect and I went thru their online system to report the issue. We exchanged a couple emails and some pictures and they sent a new part to replace the faulty one. It is now installed and working great! Definitely recommend! Will be ordering parts here in the future

parts appeared heavy duty and were as described. went on no problem (other than getting off the four hub bolts) and the new hubs had the ABS sensor, so an added bonus is that my ABS doesnt shudder anymore!!
This is a great kit! It even comes with abs sensors, brake rotors and brake pads! The best part is nithing in the kit is cheap and everything fits as it should! Great parts, great price , you cant go wrong!

No. You either have to knock the old ones out or pick up a new set.
It is best to replace all at once. The brake rotors are separate from the hubs so they could be installed separately.
These will only fit vehicles with a singe rear wheel set up.
The dual rear wheel are different from the single rear wheel because they make it where you can fit a dual rear wheel tire on the front if needed the duel tires are different on the back so they make it where you can rotate the tires therefore the hubs are different
Thank you for your inquiry. This kit will not include new wheel studs. You may either reuse the original studs or purchase new studs as these are built to exact OE specifications. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

These bearings do come with a lifetime warranty. The Timkens will be of higher quality.
I do not remember the exact brand, however they seem to be of good quality. I do remember they are not Timken. I installed them 6 months ago and they are still going great.
