This is a good upgrade for your truck, but be aware you might have to do a little modification to it. Mine wouldn't fit into the hole so had to grind the metal sleeves down a little cause they don't flex like the OE plastic ones.

Yes the body is aluminum
Yes...this fits...my 2014 Sierra has the exact same motor....only difference is it's chrome for whatever reason and factory one is not but mine fit and worked great! I've also installed one on a 2018 Silverado with a 5.3 belonging to a friend...good luck
