The part was as close to an exact match as possible. After getting the old rusted part off the vehicle (no small task), the replacement hoist went right in and worked perfectly. Hopefully it is made better than the original part that tends to rust and seize up over time.

This thing is junk! Had installed 6 months ago, got a flat the other day. Was able to lower spare. Now the cable is all bound up and cannot re hoist. Had to cut cable so wouldn't drag on pavement. Spare in back of car for time being until I find a QUALITY oem replacement. You get what you pay for, what a hassle this has become. Would not recommend. Buy something that will last more than one time.
