Ok so I ordered this for my husband who is working on a project truck. I thought I would suprise him and when it came In he said he didn't need those for the truck. I was so disappointed , Well to make a lot g story short it ended up that he did indeed needed them and he was happy with the parts and me...lol so Thank you 1aauto.

These are the right part. Have fun torching out the old bushings and pressing in the new ones but when it’s done it’ll be a proper job.

I ordered leaf spring shackles for my 99 Silverado 2500.
The shipping was free and they arrived when they were supposed to.
I find the 1A Auto videos on YouTube very helpful and I was happy to give them my business.
I have no complaints and I’ll buy from them in the future.

I have a 1998 GMC K1500 Z71 that I’m installing a 6” lift on and doing a complete rehab on the suspension. After the beating I took replacing the front lower control arm bushings I figured replacing the shackles would be less painful than replacing the lower bushing on the stock shackles to go with my new springs. I was unable to find Moog or AC Delco Professional’s in stock so I found these TRQ pieces on A1. A1’s service is always great and their products are usually spot on so this review gets a second star for that. Overall product quality is fine. The problem goes all the way back to whoever laid out the flat pattern for these blew the bend allowance calculations for the upper spring hanger flanges. This resulted in the width of the spring hanger being too wide for the spring. Comparing the stock shackles to the TRQ the difference in width is equal to the metal thickness on each side. This is a pretty common oops when laying out flat patterns for folded metal. TRQ’s solution is to provide an oversized spring bushing with the shackle. That requires a lot of work for a result that will still not be right. I guess washers could also be stacked on each side of the spring to fill the gaps in a pinch but that’s the kluge. I’m going to use these to pre-position the springs so I can continue with the build but for the permanent solution these shackles will be replaced with something that fits correctly even if I have to rehab the stockers. I’ve never used any TRQ products before and I don’t want to judge all their stuff based on this experience, however, I don’t think they will be a go-to product line for me in the future.

Have not installed product yet, but product came missing one bolt. This is disappointing , whoever packed the shackles could not have missed a bolt missing. Would be hard to recommend anyone to buy this product.
