In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the mirror glass on this 2002 Chevy Suburban. We'll show you on the passenger's side but the driver's side is a similar procedure. The items you'll need for this include a new mirror glass from 1AAuto.com and a flat blade screwdriver.
You can see that our mirror glass is cracked, and you want to push in one side so you can see back behind it. You can see these tabs. Using a flat blade screw driver just pry these tabs and then pull forward at the same time. Once you've got a few of them along the top here the glass will pop free. Then you can push off these two wires.
On the left is the old mirror glass; on the right is the new one from 1A Auto. You can see they're identical and they're going to fit exactly the same. Reinstall: if you have heated mirrors then you'll need to reconnect the two wires. Then, when you press the glass back in place, make sure you press around where the ring is that has the clips on it. Don't press on the outside so that, extreme top or the bottom, you could break the glass again.

Better than I expected. Installed easily.
Fit my 2003 chevy silverado 1500. Took a min or two to snap in but it works great. Wish the mirror material gave the same view / depths as the OEM, but it does what you need it to do. Buy with confidence.
It doesn't get much better to find the part I needed 1A Auto's inventory. The mirror arrived in a few days and was a perfect fit.
The mounting clips around the perimeter of the circle matched the original, but the 2 clips on the interior of the circle did not match exactly. The originals were opposite each other and the replacement's were not. I was able to install it and the remote adjustment is working, but we'll see if it stays in place over time since one of the clips is not attached.
