For more information, go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.Works ok, hinges a little noisy when lifting & closing the hood on my 2007 chevy Silverado. The left hinge ( drivers side) was not a problem. The Right hinge (passenger) had too much slop in it, found that the hinge arm was not thick enough. This caused shoulder ( I will call it pin/bushing/shoulder) was longer and would bottom out before the hinge was tight enough, I do understand that the hinge needs a small amount of clearance to function properly, but there was too much being that the arm was not thich enough. The old hinge had a bell like indentation inches area which made the hinge arm appear thicker. I was able to install a makeshift spacer to take care of this, the new hinge was flat, therefore making it thinner Otherwise all was good I would have thought that would not have happen being these hinges were twice the price of other after market hinges, but $20 each cheaper than OEM hinges.
