Easy install, works great!
The 1AIMX00157-Chevrolet GMC Cadillac Ignition Lock Cylinder TRQ ILA41518 is a great product overall with easy installation. Looks and feels like good quality. I installed it on my 1999 Chevy s10 because my old original ignition would stick and it wouldn't turn over so my truck could start. Now that It's replaced it works smoothly like it came off the showroom floor.
Fit like a glove just like every part I purchase. now my key don't come while ignition is on. If your is coming out from being wore out this part is for you .if you have a passlock problem I highly suggest replace this first . Just make sure your ignition switch gear is in the right place.
The item worked perfectly. Initially, I bought one from Amazon (admittedly a little cheaper) however this one triggered the security system and forced me to return it. This one worked perfectly!
