Escalade front shocks
At about 100k miles, I needed to replace the front shocks in my 4th gen Escalade. I've appreciated the installation videos from 1A Auto, so they were the first place I looked for shocks. I comparison shopped several places, and these shocks are competitively priced, lifetime warranted, and shipped for no extra charge.
The video really helped me understand installation, and I was happy to see that the shocks had been updated with connectors that the video showed needed to be reused from the old shocks. (This was the only part of the installation that I was worried about, and the attached connectors are a great upgrade.) The installation took a friend and I about 3.5 hours. I'd recommend an impact wrench for disassembly. I over torqued the first bolt when I reattached it on the lower control arm - the attached nut won't take much torque.
The new shocks ride great, (quite an improvement over my old, bad shocks), and I would recommend TRQ shocks and 1A Auto. As always, great video.

The How-To video shows the top nut that holds the shock to coil spring assembly being torqued, but audio doesn't state what the torque spec is. What is the torque spec of that nut?
