Staff was very helpful in getting the correct part. Some shipping problems but they made it right.
Fit is great. There is a little distorstion in the micro, but not enough to hurt anything.
What I received was not what was in the video. In the video, you get a mirror that snaps into the OEM bracket. This is what the TRQ non-heated version did (which I mistakenly ordered first). That was a great fit. But this heated version requires you to remove the old mirror AND the circular plate it mounts to to use the 4 "claws" on the mirror's motor to hold it on. Which, could be ok if it did easily pop up. I learned then when I snapped the mirror back into place from the folded position. Why it was done differently for this version is beyond me. So, I returned it.
Very happy with my A1 auto mirror replacement! There is a tiny bit of distortion that doesnt effect my safety and rear view vision! Price was nice to the pocket compared to replacing the whole assembly it self!
This mirror glass has a definite distortion to it, and the plastic backing is also inferior. There is a ball-and-socket type clip in the center which broke as I gently pushed it into place. Not sure how long this is going to hold up, as it's only being held on now by the little actuator arms. Lesson learned; next time I will buy the whole mirror assembly from the competition for just a few more bucks and save myself the frustration of disassembly and re-assembly.
Works fine, was easy to install, delivered quickly The glass is clear but has an ever slight distortion (wave) to it Headlights in mirror seem incredibly bright compared to my old mirror.

The glass comes already attached to the mounting plate.
Thank you for your inquiry. This mirror will have the backing plate included, so you will need to remove the original mirror with the original backing plate still attached. That backing plate is essentially clipped on to the motor inside the mirror housing, you will want to use the power adjusting feature to tilt the glass down or up so you can get good enough leverage on one side, and use the right amount of force to unclip the backing plate from its attach point in the housing.
