In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the mirror glass on this 2002 Chevy Suburban. We'll show you on the passenger's side but the driver's side is a similar procedure. The items you'll need for this include a new mirror glass from 1AAuto.com and a flat blade screwdriver.
You can see that our mirror glass is cracked, and you want to push in one side so you can see back behind it. You can see these tabs. Using a flat blade screw driver just pry these tabs and then pull forward at the same time. Once you've got a few of them along the top here the glass will pop free. Then you can push off these two wires.
On the left is the old mirror glass; on the right is the new one from 1A Auto. You can see they're identical and they're going to fit exactly the same. Reinstall: if you have heated mirrors then you'll need to reconnect the two wires. Then, when you press the glass back in place, make sure you press around where the ring is that has the clips on it. Don't press on the outside so that, extreme top or the bottom, you could break the glass again.

Bad Product!!! Followed all instructions on video heard the clicks as said on video fell out on road after two days did not have puddle light wires. Purchased whole unit at car parts for five bucks less and it's working great. I order parts about twice a month!! Not happy with this product.
Was not the correct mirror
Heat never worked since installed , blinker failed within 1 year , trying to get warranty replacement now , we"ll see
Fit was a bit off, did not snap in tightly, while driving to work, it flew off, and I had to purchase a new one locally. If you purchase one you need to insure it snaps in tightly. If may appear to but if there is any wobble it will come off

It took Way Too long !!! For it to arrive . Upon arrival it was easier to remove to than to install. Either its not a prefect fix cause it seems to rub or motor struggling to move it around

I had no trouble putting this in and it's so much better than the one it replaced, which had turned orange due to the auto-dimming liquid leaking inside. This one doesn't auto dim but I'm not sure I even notice the difference.
This will fit models with a 4-3/8 in. Diameter Mount.
The measurement is referring to the diameter of the mount on the back of the mirror glass. This will fit your mirror if it has a 4 3/8" diameter mount.
