I replaced the OEM electronic ride shocks with this kit on my 02 Escalade. Installation is straight forward and the "dummy" sensors have kept the dash light happy. Plug and play, NO SPLICING! The ride firmed up nicely and eliminated the "see-saw" effect from the old, tired shocks. They may not be as plush as the electronic shocks, but given the cost and availability of the OEM shocks, it's a very worthy trade off.
They were easy to install and riding fine!!!
So far so good Perfect fit and is currently working well.
As described and fit well.
Same here. Everything is working great thus far. Thank You!!
Worked great to replace my factory OEM shocks! Lasted this long and was way overdue . Still looks the same looks wise, and didnt raise it or anything. Rides better and I replaced my compressor too. It was done on a 2003 Escalade 6.0 and TRQ is a great dependable brand! Arrived safely by UPS and in brand new condition. Ordered all 4 here at 1A
Fitment was accurate to my 2003 Escalade 6.0 awd to replace its old shocks of how many years? I lost count. But my original shocks lasted all those years till now: barely 100k miles and decided to go factory air shocks over regular Shocks. 1A auto helped accomplished that at a great deal then going to dealership. So I ordered the front and rear shocks here . I will continue to shop at 1A Auto again In the future , thanks !
It is a good value it arrived ahead of time and it performs just as good as the OEM thank you
Shocks fit great and performed perfectly. They were easily installed.
No, they do not. If you want to retain the Autoride feature you need to purchase the much more expensive OEM type shocks. The RPO (the code which designates Autoride) is Z55, so when shopping for these make sure the description indicates "with Z55". You'll know by the price as well whether they're OEM. They're typically at least $280.00 each.
No, you do not need to replace the rear ones if they are not bad yet.
Yes, our parts are exact replacements for your vehicle's OEM parts. As long as your year, make, and model match up with our listing, these parts will directly fit and function like the originals.
Hello, our parts are a direct replacement to the originals and would be the same ride.
Thank you for your inquiry! Yes, this kit is a passive conversion for models that originally came equipped with an automatic dampening (electronic) suspension. It will fit just like the original did, bypass the factory sensors, and allow a more consistent ride thanks to a revised gas shock design. In order to verify this kit fits your application, we would just need confirmation of the year of the Yukon Xl Denali. We look forward to hearing back from you!
These shocks are our house brand, where as Arnott is a brand name that specializes in Air Suspension products. Both products have strict quality control standards and both carry a limited Lifetime Warranty. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you for the inquiry!
That is correct the shocks will need to be fully installed first and then you can install the bypass resistors.
