I am very satisfied with the products I purchased. Great prices and delivery was quick. I have already recommended 1A Auto to family and friends.
Fast delivery and perfect fit
Looks cheap an feels cheap
Both inner tie rods were shot from the get go. Scared to find out how long the rest of the parts will last
The part here from A1 auto have been of good quality durable outlandish... I recommend using A1 auto for all ur parts needs.
Excellent product fast shipping definitely a returning customer.
My first purchase from 1A Auto. It was the instructional videos that did the trick; and then I was pleasantly surprised at the great price, especially when you buy the arms along with the tie rods. These were just as sturdy as the original arms/rods I removed, although there were some differences that didn't really bother me. The original arms didn't have the castle nuts with the cotter pin that came with the new ones; and the tie rods had different "flats" on which you put a wrench to keep it from turning when adjusting. The only thing that seemed cheaper were the lock nuts for the tie rods; they were thinner. Not sure what to think of these "sealed" bearings, without grease fittings; the original parts had them, these don't. I guess time will tell. I had much difficulty getting the pitman arm off the gearbox; I tried heat and a puller; and was afraid I'd break the puller. The heat melted the dust boot on the shaft, beware. So I ended up cutting it off with an angle gri
a timely manner and were a good fit
Ordered all 4 control arms( 1ASFK01956) and steering kit (1ASFK01596). Installed them over a weekend. Took the truck to get the alignment done. The shop told me tie rods were already too loose to properly align. Replaced with other brand instead. On one of the upper control arms, the bushings seemed too thin and they had to shim them so they could tighten down on them. Now most of the ball joints on the control arms are shot after only 20k miles. Contacted 1aauto for their warranty for the control arms and was denied because the truck is lifted with just raising the torsion keys. Now I am spending the money again plus some to get all new control arms, pitman arm ,and idler arm. 2002 Chevy Silverado z71 4x4
This will be correct only if your vehicle came equipped with a 4-groove pitman arm.
For the 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 you would have to have 4wd- This also excludes models with rack and pinion steering, and the crew cab model. So if you have rack and pinion on your extended cab model, this will not fit for your vehicle. You might be looking more for the kit, 1ASFK02546 a link is below.
