CV axles are designed to transmit the power from your vehicle's drivetrain to the wheels while being able to flex and pivot to the demands of the steering and suspension systems. my kids 2006 chevy equinox is just one problem after another, but it runs good just everything around the motor is the problem.. bad clicking noise evey time he left the house.. figured cv axles found them at 1aauto for a great price. Took about 30/45 minutes to install both, problem fixed
