What is the length of this shaft ?
Actual Measurements are not listed or available. Our parts are exact replacements for your vehicle's OEM parts. As long as your vehicle specifications match up with our listing, these parts will directly fit and function like the originals.

Does the column have a boot that protects the coupler to the gear box?
No it doesnt. The upper bolt hole is larger than the actual steering column bolt hole. This is not a good replacement, lots of slop in the steering. Use Detroit speed and pay the price for quality

I have a 78 Buick regal with a 60LS swap with headers and Im having steering shaft clearance problems will this fix the problems?
I cant say with 100% certainty, however this is a relatively low-profile shaft and doesnt take much space at all. Id assume it would work.
