Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace a front engine torque strut mount on this 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo. We show you on the mount on the driver's side, but the passenger's side has the same part and the same procedure. The items you'll need for this includes a new front engine mount from 1AAuto.com, and a 13mm and 15mm socket and ratchet, and a 15 mm wrench.
The mount is held in with a 15mm bolt and three 13mm bolts. For the 15 mm bolt, you're going to need a wrench on one side and your socket and ratchet on the other. Then you can just remove the 13mm bolts. Once those are removed, the mount just pulls free.
On the left is the old engine mount; on the right is the new one from 1A Auto. You can see they're identical and they'll fit exactly the same. Put your new front engine torque strap mount into place and put the bolt through it. Push it down. Then replace those three 13mm bolts and tighten them up. Replace the nut on the 15mm bolt and tighten that up. Once they're all tightened up, you're all set.

Parts came when they said they would. They fit fair price
This was a great buy. It got to my house on the correct time of shipping date. And it was an easy in stall for my 2005 Monte Carlo.
WORKED AS EXPECTED GREAT PRICE
Shipped when they said it would, nicely packaged, parts went in just like they were suppose to. What more could you want. Now if I can get my local parts store to get there head out of their a&& and operate like 1a auto all would be great in gearhead land. Also the how to video's are great, just knowing the right size wrenches makes the job go a lot faster. Thanks 1a auto
