This fuel pump includes a new electrical connector harness. You will need to remove your existing electrical connector and install the new connector provided in order to install your new fuel pump (instructions are included with the pump).
This fuel pump is not a universal fit item. Because your vehicle’s original connector is prone to failure due to corrosion, cracking, loose pin housings, and wire crimp issues, the OE manufacturer has changed the shape of the connector, requiring the install of a new electrical connector during fuel pump service.

The fuel pump assembly was a direct fit and easy to install! The kit did not include a new seal, snap ring, or retainers for the quick connect fuel lines. I reused the old hardware as needed and didnt have any problems. My fuel gauge works again and the new pump isnt as loud as the old one was.
changed the fuel pump , fit perfect i also changed the instrument cluster but still have no gauge
This part is a perfect replacement for my blazer. Not only did it come with the pump but it had the fuel level assembly. Which fixed my broken fuel gauge. Blazers back on the road at Less then half the cost of buying it from a local parts store, just had to wait for shipping. I'll be buying more replacement part from here in the future.
There could be multiple reasons why you're having this particular problem. We suggest taking your vehicle to a nearby reputable shop to identify the cause. Once you know the cause, we'll be happy to see if we carry the parts and how-to videos needed for your repair.
There is an O ring made of rubber, this ring was dificalt to install alone. Working with my son, we got the locking ring in place. The pump went in and works well. Be sure to look the, vehicle wiring over real well and leave addiquit wire length to attach the New pig tail plug to the vehicle wires.
We have a few different aftermarket companies build these parts specifically for us, as our 1A Auto house brand. They are manufactured to the same OEM specifications as the original part that came with your vehicle. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
