Tight for new cap.
I replaced my old locking gas cap with a new one before I purchased the filler neck. After having the new filler neck installed I couldn't get the new locking gas cap to go on. I tried the old locking gas cap and I was able to get it on correctly. I used my OBD-2 to erase the code. I just haven't driven the car to see if it works. I think the new locking gas cap is to tight to work on a new filler neck I bought. Maybe in the future the neck will ware and the new cap will fit. The neck looks great. I think it has a phosphate coating to protect it from rusting, or it might just be paint.
