This motor assembly was a perfect match for my 2002 Buick Lesabre. I will caution you though that the space to do the work is very tight even with pulling the carpet back. It took 2 people to both remove and install the motor and it helps to spin the impeller (upper part with the fins) to get it out and back in to the housing. The only negative I would say is that the new motor didn't come with a new gasket but it's not totally necessary. Still worth a 5 star rating and you can't beat the warranty!!
Took a mirror to find the lower back few bolts, pulled the carpet back, removed the glove box and the Delphi computer & bracket on the right to get the old housing to rotate counterclockwise enough to get the old fan and housing out. Two weeks in, and it works OK so far. Hope it lasts as long as the 178,000 mile original part did while living in hot Phoenix. The replacement lower case is almost as good as the original. Check and clean your evaporator drain from the engine bay side of the lower firewall, mine was plugged. Getting under the dash is tough for an older dude, am almost standing straight up again!
