The part was an exact fit. Just as important, the video showing how to replace it showed all the potential gotchas that made the replacement so much easier. Before the old one died, the AC in the car was just ok. The replacement has super powered the AC, I'm now using the fan speed after half power to keep from getting too cold.
Blower motor for a 98 Olds 88. Motor is quiet and well built. Installation was a bit of work. My car has 400k miles on it. Electrical hookup was simple. 1AAuto has never let me down when price, quality, delivery and support are considered. Their online video repair page is indispensable for any DIYer. In over 50 years repairing vehicles, I have never found any other supplier that comes close.
Had to drill some new holes. The gasket had to be removed. I made it work. Does the job.
I installed this heater blower motor into my 2003 Buick LeSabre and it works and sounds perfectly. I am happy with it and can recommend it to others. The only things different was the body of it was made of plastic instead of metal and only had the gasket on the side facing the car body. When you remove the glove box etc; make sure you remember where each screw goes and also plug in the new blower motor and turn it on to make sure it works before you bolt it up! (Too late to add a photo now.)
